I know, there are numerous users who have used loads of rapidshare tools to carry on the process of downloading stuff from rapidshare servers. Yes, I am right in saying rapidshare premium account user. This tool is for Rapidshare Premium Account users and not free users or owners of collector zone.

Lets see the usage of the tool.

Download the software file from location linked above. You may choose any of the server based on your location. No problem if you choose another server.

Once the download is complete, install the RSDownloader in order to start download rapidshare files.

Open the software, you will now need to enter the rapidshare premium login details. If you don’t have a premium account, it is not possible to use this software.

Once, login into the account will enable you to add download links.

Left click on the Add and Check Links on the left sidebar.

Add download links of all files you want to download. You can add any number of links as you wish.

Once you add all your links, you will be able to check links if all them are live and none of them return “File not found”.

As you check the existence of all files, you can start downloading the rapidshare hosted files.

Apart from normal download feature, this software has much better feature of scheduling the download time. You can set up the schedule to download. Also, they provide facility to save/load queue of rapid share download files. This is better if you use computer in an intermittent basis or use multiple computers like home, office, college etc.

You also have setting to turn off computer automatically when all rapidshare downloads are finished. This is good that you can download files during night without requiring the computer to stay on the whole night.

If you look deep into the settings of rapidshare download manager software, they have even proxy setting for those who use proxy connections to connect internet. Many theme support are provided.

The developers also claim that it has an auto un-rar feature – very nice to have such feature as the downloads are automatically extracted from archive.

Also, a plugin support has been added. Though at right today, we don’t have any plugins, but once plugins are released, rapidshare premium users will enjoy much more features without requiring the software upgrade
